After 30 years, Frank Marino is still the self-described ‘His Majesty, the Queen’ of the Strip

Let’s be Frank—assuming you’ve got the gowns, wigs, cosmetics, jewelry and generally deep well of fabulousness. Otherwise, just let Frank speak frankly since his frankness is so very … Frank.

“I never try to be a woman like Caitlyn Jenner tries to be a woman,” says female impersonator Frank Marino, who is marking 30 years as a Strip mainstay by headlining the Linq’s celebrity drag show Frank Marino’s Divas Las Vegas and the former An Evening at La Cage at the now-closed Riviera.

“It’s not about being a girl; it’s about being a Vegas icon. I want to be something crazy like the top of a wedding cake,” says the New York-born showman who built his career on channeling Joan Rivers.
