The Saint At Large, gaydom’s preeminent party, announces this year’s Black Party theme: “Un-Holi Rites XXXV: A Ruined Paradise.” will be held on Saturday night, March 22 until Sunday afternoon at Roseland Ballroom (239 West 52nd Street, NYC). DJ’s will be announced at a later date.
Held on the weekend closest to the vernal equinox each year, this annual rite of spring celebration has firmly established itself as Gay New York’s biggest night of the year.
This year’s theme is inspired by the rich tradition and colorful culture of Holi, an ancient religious Hindu festival. The creative team will emblemize the reincarnation of a sacred temple through the passage of time.
