‘One City One Pride’ Brings 40 Days of LGBTQ Programming to Los Angeles

West Hollywood’s One City One Pride is expanding this year. Instead of taking up the month of June, the festivities started on May 22, Harvey Milk’s birthday. This year’s theme is “Into the Streets“—taken from the historic rallying cry for increased visibility for queer people.

With nearly 90 events in 40 days, the long-running arts and culture festival offers opportunities to learn about the history of drag, catch some unique theater experiences, as well as explore the many groups that comprise SoCal’s LGBT community. Here are nine of our favorite upcoming events.
