Gay Nightlife in Chicago

Grab a drink and grab a local.

Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club

Dessert martinis and an outdoor patio. There’s also always trendy tunes playing if inside is more your style.

Joie De Vine

If you’re in the neighborhood, this wine bar is a comfortable little spot for people who know the best pairing for any wine is good company.

Jeffery Pub

It’s a place to drink, dance, and hang out, but it doesn’t really excel at any of those things. More for locals, this bar is just ok. Which is ok.

Jackhammer / The Hole

A leather and levis type of place for the men who enjoy that, but it’s usually friendly to all. Downstairs in “The Hole” people will get way more “friendly.”

InnExile

If you’re looking to turn layover into a lay, this bar’s proximity to Midway might do the trick. It’s a cruisy little place that is otherwise unremarkable.

Hydrate

Hydrate is rowdy, dancing is pretty much mandatory, and it becomes packed once the bars close at 2am. Most guys are drunk and ready for it all by then.

Hunter’s Nightclub

It’s not what it used to be, but if you’re looking to dance in the Chicago suburbs, give it a try. It tends to be more fun for locals than visitors.

Granville Anvil

Cheap drinks, sassy bartenders and carpet on the walls. You guessed it, this joint’s a dive bar. And a damn good one at that.

Forest View Lounge

Girls head to the suburbs for a laid back time at The View. The grill pumps out a huge selection of meat and beer and pool to keep you busy.

Downtown

Go downtown and visit this properly named bar and lounge. Some of the theme nights are worth the trip.
