Always a good time. Relaxed environment, great bar food (seriously, really good) and service is always top notch. During the day it's a great meet-up place for drinks; typically able to get a table. Night time, especially on the weekends, it gets packed so you may end up standing, but still a good time. By far, my #1 choice for day drinking.

First time here. Loved the bar itself but the rest...wooden tables...just didn't fit the modern slick design of the bar area. Poor choice in my humble opinion. Bartender was friendly and poured a good drink, which I appreciate! My friends ordered a burger and fries each...both enjoyed their lunch. Waiter was attentive and friendly.

Decent ambiance, going for warehouse-chic I think. Interesting liquor selection, but they lack a few standards required for several classic cocktails. Seems like they're trying to emulate a craft cocktail bar, without actually doing any craft cocktails. Food is middle of the road.

Crazy fries were delicious! Hispanic female bar back and Caucasian bartender male afternoon we're nice & friendly. Staff that came in to replace them changed the atmosphere. Most were unfriendly even though I tried to be friendly with them. Waiter guys, very unfriendly. Happy hour only 4-6 :-( early evening.

I think this is a great new addition to the PS gay scene. Its a nice, new look and doesnt feel like time has stood still here since the 90s like most other places in gay Palm Springs. The service is friendly, and quick. They also have a great food menu of some simple bar food like tacos, nachos, salads, etc. I highly recommend this place!

Palm Springs first gastropub is a great place to chill and grab a beer without the loud music. Expect a mixed crowd that even lures the heteros with disco fries and a whiskey wall.

My favorite bar in boystown.. the drinks are great , bartenders fast, outdoor patio is always clean and the music is great.. They have really nice televisions all throughout the club playing happy videos it's very up beat here and it's always happy. The pool tables are great in the back and it's always busy but never crowded. I highly recommend this bar over all of the others on arenas

Always cooled to a perfect temperature, this is literally the coolest bar in town. Expect a friendly staff and younger crowd — it is very popular with the 20-, 30-, and 40- something crowd.

I love this place. Every time I am in the Palm Springs area I always stop by here for happy hour or early evening. I have never been here late at night when everyone comes out. I generally like it a little quite so this is when I prefer going. You will see all kinds of men here, everyone from normal looking guys to straight up fetish gear. From fully clothed or guys just wearing a thong. They have lockers there too in case you want to change into something sexy when you get there. What I like, is everyone seems to be fully accepted at the Barracks. I personally enjoy just wearing a pair of panties in the place and I don't feel out of place at all. A lot of people just like to show off and be themselves, it's not all about sex or hooking up. Sometimes you will feel a hand on your rear end from somebody, but I love that. People just want a place to go to be themselves. Everyone is very nice, the staff is friendly and you can usually strike up a conversation with anyone in the place. I will be back in town in early April, can't wait.

Not as good as it has been in the past but always a fun place to hang out and have a really strong drink for a really cheap price. It's obviously best on the weekends but once in awhile on a Wednesday is pretty good. Be careful with a DUI traps always suggest you Uber

One of the worst bartenders I have ever come across. Judgemental, rude and a basic douche. He insulted my friend within a minute of us arriving. Because he did not have the basic skills to make a simple cocktail he told my friend that this bar was only for leather men .All the while he was lisping and grinding like a cheap rent "boy" in underwear that had past their experation dateSimple rule if you are a bartender- if you don't know how to make a cocktail just say so. The customer will ask for another option. Bartenders rely on tips. A simple fact this douche forgot about before he stood in front of other patrons and insulted my friend. At this point I had just moved to PS. In fact , the day before. I guess they will never see me again. In a town awash with bars, clients have options. I exercise my right never to spend a cent there again. I encourage others who don't want to be humiliated by a clicky bitter old queen to do the same.

The Barracks Bar is a local gay hotspot that offers a lot of events especially their Sunday afternoon get-together that is extremely popular. The bar offers a "pool table area" and a nice large patio for the Sunday afternoon gathering. The staff is great and I'm sure you will have a great time! They even offer a large interior room for private parties and events!

A ten-minute drive outside of the city will find you in a hard-core leather and chains oasis. Sunday Beer Busts are your best bet for frolicking with the bears.

This is a great bar for the gray/bald hair community. They have great karaoke and have a night where you can get chicken, and I am talking about food. Free popcorn, great drink prices. You might miss it while driving as there is a small neon sign outside. Make sure you enter the correct entrance door otherwise you either go into a Mexican or Asian restaurant and you won't win Let's Make A Deal.

Beautiful hidden little bar. Amazing bartender. Try their pumpkin Martini thing. It's amazing. I'd like to see a little more (like any) comfortable seating for fat people but other than that the place is awesome

So I've been apprehensive but coming here since emy first experience via palm springs pride... Which was INSANE. well... I came here and the first thing I loved was the older staff.... I'm weird, but I find it more comfort at a bar when the staff isn't a barely 21 year old halfway naked.. Staff was amazing.. Friendly... And drinks are good. A bit high for a desert considering I'm. From Manhattan beach... But idc.

Ugh, this is the Dirtiest place ever. The bartenders are way too busy trying to kick out all, but white people. If your not willing to put up with 5 day old beer smell in the bar and week drinks if your not white, then don't even try this place.Oh they had a sign in the bathroom, for a more pleasurable experience ask your bartender.

So... My first gay bar I went to since I moved to Palm Springs from Manhattan Beach was this place.... And I was highly disappointed. Friends had warned me but I figured they were exaggerating. I was wrong. The weirdest thing was the men's restroom. Which faces customers sitting outside... Why is it weird? Because they won't let you close the restroom door, and there's no dividers between the stalls and literally anyone sitting outside and can get a clear view of your pen*s as you're doing your business. I tried closing the door, bouncer guy slams it open and scolds me... Other customers even said "can't a guy do his business without a crowd?"... So, I won't be returning... I never felt so uncomfortable. Plus I had met a nice young lady who was having a few drinks with me.... Bartender cuts her off on her 3rd drink because she "drank it too fast". Yet she wasn't sloppy, drunk, or anything... I was shocked... And so were the rest of us... Especially since she gave the bartender a giant tip on her last drink... The vibe I got was passive aggressive/controlling... Not a pleasant experience whatsoever. I write this as I am now looking for new bar to try out tonight.

This was a huge part of why I wanted to visit Palm Springs. The show is an absolute blast. Certainly worth reserving in advance so that you can sit. Otherwise you are cramped in the back and won't be able to see everything. Your tickets are good for both shows that night so you can really see it all! Just note that the tables are not private. You may be sitting with some new friends. Tommi Rose is a fantastic host and the girls that come through are incredible.

Sitting here having a beer with my husband... This place is a great place to relax. GREAT free snacks when you purchase a beverage. Bartender is one of the best we have met!! Bar is very clean and friendly. The staff makes you feel like you are their number one priority. VERY rare in today's world. Great place to relax and watch music videos from many genre's.

They really pack it in here; it’s fun and dancing is concentrated into a tiny space. If you can handle the crowd, the strong drinks and the drag shows are worth it.
