Boston Pride announced today that the theme for the 2014 Pride Parade and Festival is, “Be Yourself, Change the World.” The theme encourages the LGBT community to embrace what makes each individual unique and to use those qualities to change the world for the better. Boston Pride Week 2014 will be held from June 6th through June 15th.
“Boston Pride is about everyone being themselves, freely and openly, in a safe environment,” said Sylvain Bruni, President of Boston Pride. “We accept everyone for who they are and believe each of us can change the world by bringing visibility and awareness to the LGBT community.”
