Inside Netflix House at King of Prussia: The Queer-Friendly Fantasy Near Philly

Travel Tips | Jonny Kandell | November 19, 2025

Move over, Cheesecake Factory — there’s a new reason the gays are sprinting to King of Prussia, and it’s not for a seasonal sale at Zara. Netflix House Philadelphia has officially opened its doors, and mama… it’s giving immersive fantasy with a side of merch I absolutely don’t need but will buy anyway.

This two-story playground inside the iconic King of Prussia Mall (about 30 mins from Philly’s gayborhood) lets you step straight into your favorite shows — from eerie “Wednesday” vibes to swashbuckling “One Piece” energy — all without needing a subscription, a password, or your ex’s login. It’s the perfect excuse to grab your friends, your situationship, or that man you met in the food court and live your best binge-queen life IRL.

A Feast Fit for a Stream Queen

First things first, let’s talk food — because the girls don’t play when it comes to a themed snack. Upstairs at Netflix Bites, the menu is packed with clever nods to your favorite shows. Yes, the giant pretzel meant “for four” will run you $38 (gay math says that’s… fine), but the dishes are surprisingly tasty. The standout? An “Emily in Paris”-inspired Emily’s Italian Fling Salad that claims to taste like “pure amore,” and honestly, she delivers. Expect new menu additions as Netflix drops more shows — your tastebuds will never be bored.

But here’s the thing: everything tastes better when you’re eating under peak Netflix camp. Picture sipping a mocktail beside a K-Pop Demon Hunter statue or nibbling fries while surrounded by intricate murals referencing hits across the platform. You can’t make this stuff up. The whole place is an Instagrammable homage to Netflix’s greatest hits, making every bite feel like part of the show — complete with Philly-inspired photo ops, including Gayborhood rainbow street-sign moments that the locals (and the locals-at-heart) will absolutely live for.

And the snacks don’t stop at the restaurant. Netflix House has an entire wall of popcorn blends, each themed after a different show. There’s “The Perfect Pair,” a caramel-and-cheese “Love Is Blind” homage; a spicy “Stranger Things” Code Red flavor; a cozy Virgin River option; and a rainbow-bright Gum Gum Crunch inspired by One Piece. Grab a bag for the road, or three — we don’t judge.

If you somehow still have energy after eating your way through the Netflix universe, the second floor ups the ante with glow-in-the-dark mini golf (nine holes of neon chaos) and a full 3D laser tag arena for your action-adventure era. Translation: plenty of playful ways to spend your time between shopping, snacking, and living your Netflix fantasy IRL.

Choose Your Adventure: Pirates or Goths?

Downstairs is where Netflix House Philadelphia really flexes. The entire first floor is devoted to two massive immersive experiences — One Piece and Wednesday — each one its own fully built-out universe. Whichever path you pick, expect drama, details, and more than one moment where you forget you’re inside a mall.

ONE PIECE: Quest for the Devil Fruit

Grab your crew — or make some new besties while waiting in line — because this high-seas chaos is built for teamwork and bonding (honestly, it’s gay camp disguised as a team-building exercise). The One Piece Adventure is essentially an escape room on steroids, split into six rooms that throw you straight into the East Blue. Your mission: help Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates solve puzzles, decode symbols, and outrun danger.

Highlights include:

  • A frantic arcade room where your team has just minutes to beat every game
  • A sinister circus showdown with season-one villain Captain Buggy
  • Custom-filmed videos created specifically for this experience

Even if you’ve never watched an episode, the whole hour-long journey is a blast. If you have watched? Prepare to squeal. It’s immersive, cinematic, and surprisingly emotional — no wonder it makes the perfect birthday-group outing.

WEDNESDAY: Eve of the Outcasts

If pirates aren’t your fantasy, follow the spooky gays and crossover into Wednesday Addams’ realm. This dark, Evermore-inspired experience starts in the iconic dorm room she shares with Enid — the moody, gothic-chic aesthetic clashing beautifully with Enid’s bubblegum unicorn world. The immaculate attention to detail makes the space feel like a set piece ripped directly from the show.

A secret door (obviously) drops you into a cursed carnival drenched in eerie purple light. Picture:

  • Sleepy Hollow-style trees looming overhead
  • A teddy bear guillotine game you will absolutely cackle at
  • A Wheel of Death spinning ominously nearby
  • Carnival chaos everywhere you turn

But don’t worry — Enid’s pastel, glitter-coated corner offers a soft reprieve from the macabre madness, complete with photo ops and kid-friendly vibes. It’s the yin to Wednesday’s pitch-black yang, and honestly? It’s fabulous.

The cast members stay in character the entire time, making the whole thing feel like a full descent into Evermore’s weird, wonderful world. Whether you’re there for the games, the vibes, or the chance to prove you could survive a semester with Wednesday Addams, this is pure, spooky joy.
