Dining in Providence

Put something else in your mouth.

AS220 FOO(d)

An eclectic, thriving, multifaceted arts space in the middle of downtown, the bar at AS220 is a popular gathering spot among the city’s creative spirits and open-minded souls. It serves inventive and reasonably-priced lunches and dinners and is open for locally-sourced beer, wine, and spirits every night (except Sunday and Monday) until 10 p.m.

East Side Pockets

If you’re strolling around Brown campus, stop by for some kick ass Middle Eastern wraps.  Be prepared for an assembly line of deliciousness.

CAV

Traditional (yet upscale) American food served in an untraditional décor of antiques and African art. One of the best restaurants in town; make reservations.

Caffe Dolce Vita

Not exactly fine dining, but this Italian place does have a certain charm. Pastas and sandwiches are the best bet, but it is strangely popular for brunch too.

Cafe Nuovo

The restaurant prides itself on presenting food as art. Your meal will be a trip around the world, and your bill will reflect all the culinary travel.

Al Forno

The famous Italian place worth waiting for. The grilled pizza margarita is the stuff of legends, and you may need to be a legend to get seated.
