Íntimamente Queer Tango Marathon

It takes two to tango, but who says anyone has to lead? Íntimamente Queer Tango Marathon brings three days of dancing, connection, and a little Valentine’s weekend romance to Washington, DC, where traditional gender roles are decidedly optional.

Presented by La Nuestra Tango, this queer-centered gathering welcomes dancers for a weekend of milongas (social tango dances), DJs, live music, and classes at Edgewood Arts Center. Whether you’re polishing your moves or finding your footing, the emphasis is on community, creativity, and dancing on your own terms.

And when your feet need a break, there’s plenty more to discover in gay Washington, DC. After all, even the most dedicated dancers eventually have to come up for air.
